If you watched the ESPN broadcast of the game between the Orioles and the Red Sox, you saw a fitting tribute to victims and heroes of the 2013 Patriots’ Day bombing, and to the resilience of the City of Boston. Watching it, however, I came away with the feeling that anyone outside of Massachusetts might think that Patriots’ day was invented to run the marathon and play a baseball game at 11 AM.
So let me bring Linus on stage to remind us why this is a holiday:
