Games of the Day

The Dodgers get Josh Beckett back from the disabled list as they face the Pirates and Vance Worley. Beckett allowed zero runs in four of his last six starts. Worley walked just five batters in 34 2/3 innings, but is susceptible to the long ball.

The Rays send Jake Odorizzi against the Candinals and Cy Young Award candidate Adam Wainwright. The Rays are 11-4 in July, and may need to keep that pace going for the rest of the season to make the playoffs. Most of Odorizzi’s success came at home this season, where he’s pitched about 60% of his innings. He owns a 6.10 ERA on the road. Wainwright allowed three of his four home runs at home this season, where his ERA is just a great 2.55, as opposed to his unbelieable 1.42 road mark.

Enjoy!
