In the bottom of the seventh inning in the game between the Rays and the Cardinals, Jon Jay appeared to strike out on a 4-2 pitch. No one seemed to know the count, but the replay shows four pitches that were not called strikes. Since there were two strikes early in the count, it’s not like the ump missed raising his hand for a strike. There is the possibility that there was a non-pitch in there, but it certainly was not obvious if that happened.

The Rays lead the Cardinals 2-0 in the eighth.
