Corey Kluber’s outstanding performance Thursday night moved him into second place in the AL Cy Young Tracker points race. He did not get the win as an unearned run led to extra innings and a 2-1 Royals win in the 14th. Kluber moves slightly ahead of Jon Lester, but both still trail Felix Hernandez by a wide margin.

Kluber is very close to Hernandez in wins, innings and strikeouts, but trails him in earned runs allowed.
