The Price is Wrong

David Price pitches an eight-inning complete game, losing to his old team, the Rays, 1-0 on an unearned run in the first inning. Alex Cobb allowed two hits and two walks in seven innings for the win, while Price held Tampa Bay to just one hit and no walks. The one hit was a triple by Brandon Guyer after an error by the shortstop allowed Ben Zobrist to reach, and that was enough for Tampa Bay to prevent a sweep. Price could not have pitched much better, while the Tigers offense and defense could not have performed much worse.
