Jorge Soler is certainly off to a great start. In 12 plate appearances, he owns seven hits, three home runs, and a walk. He struck out three times, so when he puts the ball in play he’s 7 for 8. While that won’t last, given that he was tearing up the minors, and that this small sample size show he can square up a pitch, I expect we’ll see great things from the youngster.
