    Bard Joins Nats

    The Washington Nationals signed Josh Bard to a minor league contract. I’m a bit surprised a better team didn’t want him. He’s a catcher who can get on base, and is competent behind the plate with the exception of a weak arm. I think he’s an excellent backup.
