    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    The Right Rightfielder?

The Nationals Enquirer doesn’t think Manny Acta made the best choice in naming Austin Kearns his starting rightfielder:

In other words: Manny Acta thinks it’s better to have the most promising (and volatile, Scott Olsen aside) young player on the roster pissed off and riding the pine while the mediocre veteran starts. And that’s to say nothing about Josh Willingham. Manny is a Kearns guy. It doesn’t compute.

I tend to agree with the Enquirer here. There’s a lot more upside to Dukes, and right now he’s probably the better player. Maybe Manny is managing the personality in this case, instead of the team. I hope he pushes the right buttons.
