    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Disabled Listch

Jesse Litsch goes on the disable list with forearm tightness. Drunk Jays Fans makes a good point:

As for Litsch, obviously I’m not a doctor, but he was scheduled for an MRI today, and doesn’t that always guarantee time off because of the dye they have to inject? (See, maybe having Burnett on the team for those first two years was good for something.) So maybe this news isn’t quite so ominous as it may seem on first blush… but what the hell do I know?

Any doctors care to comment on this? What is the recovery time for a contrast MRI?

when contrast material(CM) is injected directly into the joint space(sometimes done for the shoulder;rarely for the elbow),a short(days) recovery time is needed.

when CM is injected into a vein(to enhance the contrast difference among the soft tissues),no recovery time is required. this is the procedure used for an elbow/forearm mri.
