Good News Pitching

The Blue Jays and the Twins each received good news from their starting pitchers Thursday night. Francisco Liriano showed his great control, walking one while striking out five in six innings of work. Unfortunately, the bullpen couldn’t hold the Blue Jays at bay as they allowed seven runs and the Twins fell 9-2. For the Blue Jays, Roy Halladay won his third game, allowing just one run over seven innings. His control was even better, as he walked none and struck out eight. After a round first start, Halladay allowed one run in each of his next two.

halladay is an absolute stud, he should have won the CY last year – just because he faces AL East opponents more vs Cliff Lee. Would love to see him in a bosox uni!
