    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Tight Centrals

The Reds and Brewers won Wednesday night, with the Cardinals losing to the Pirates. That put Cincinnati, Milwaukee and St. Louis in a three way tie in the NL Central, with the Cubs just 1/2 game back. Even Pittsburgh, sitting in last place, is just 5 1/2 games out of first.

The Tigers and Royals are in a virtual tie in the AL Central with the Twins just one game back. Like the NL Central, the last place Indians are only 5 1/2 back as well. Coming into this season, I saw the AL Central as a toss up, and it’s certainly playing out that way so far. I thought the Cubs would run away with the NL Central, but their bullpen has held them back, making for a much more interesting race.

Both the Indians and the Pirates have underperformed their Pythagorean projections, so these races could even be closer.
