  • Priceless

    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Short Shutout for Bergesen

Brad Bergesen pitches eight shutout innings for the Baltimore Orioles, earning the first short shutout of his career. George Sherrill gives up a run in the ninth, but still earns his 12th save as the Mariners fall 3-1. Bergesen showed great control, walking none and striking out six. He’s given up four runs in his last 23 innings for a 1.57 ERA over that stretch. Matt Wieters went 2 for 3, the second multi-hit game of his young career.
