    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Cole Not a Merry Soul

Cole Hamels pitches one of the best games of his season, walking none and striking out ten in eight innings of work. His complete game shutout of 6/4 saw five K and no walks. Despite the high K count, however, he did not hold the Orioles to a low number of hits. Baltimore managed two runs in Hamels eight innings of work, and that was enough to win the game.

Jeremy Guthrie allowed just three hits over seven innings, one of them a home run. Guthrie’s been less than an ace this season, as the game only pulls his ERA down to 5.09.

With the Phillies and the Mets both losing over the last ten days, the Marlins are creeping back into the race, just three games out in third place.
