    Meyer Gets the Save

    Dan Meyer does indeed get the closer job in the absence of Matt Lindstrom. Renyel Pinto sets him up and Meyer pitches a perfect ninth as the Marlins defeat the Orioles 5-2. That’s a nice, easy way for Meyer to earn the first save of his career.

    Cody Ross starred at the plate with three hits and two RBI, including two doubles. That gives him 20 two-baggers on the season. Brian Roberts hit his 25th double for the Orioles.
