    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Hit or a Miss

Brad Mills pitched an odd game against the Phillies. He struck out seven and walked two in four innings, but also allowed eight hits. Only thirteen of the 22 batters he faced put the ball in play, but eight of them landed for hits, two in the seats. He ends up allowing eight runs, all earned.

Jayson Werth picked up three of those hits, a single, double and homer. With the game in the top of the sixth, he has plenty of time to get the triple. He has one this year and averages about three per season.

Happ only struck out two batters for the Phillies, but the Blue Jays managed just three hits off him as they trail 9-0.

Update: Werth homers in the sixth, a solo shot that extends the lead to 10-0.
