The Mariners trade for the Nationals Ryan Langerhans.

The Seattle Mariners acquired outfielder Ryan Langerhans from the Washington Nationals in exchange for infielder Mike Morse.

Langerhans, 29, has not appeared in the major leagues in 2009 but has 474 games of experience with the Braves, Athletics and Nationals. In his career, he has a .233 batting average, 50 doubles, 10 triples, 24 homers and 105 runs batted in.

The Mariners are looking for some versatility, and Langerhans can play all three outfield positions and first base.

The Mariners lead the Dodgers 4-0 in the bottom of the fourth.
