  • Priceless

    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Chemical Pitcher

There seems to be some excitement in Detroit about the promotion of Ni Fu-Te.

Pitching for the Triple-A Mud Hens, Fu-Te Ni (FOO’-tay-nee) has 14 strikeouts and no walks in 14-1/3 innigs with a .184 average against versus left handers. He’s not too shabby against right-handers, though he projects to be best-equipped as a lefty-one-out-guy.

Right handers have a .275 average with 18 strikeouts and nine walks in 20-1/3 innings. His ERA in May was 2.03 and he’s had a 1.93 ERA in June, although his batting average against has gone up somewhat.

Too bad Fu isn’t an element like Ni and Te.
