    Rockies Acquire Alburquerque

    The Rockies trade utility man Jeff Baker to the Cubs for a minor league pitcher with a great name:

    The Chicago Cubs acquired infielder Jeff Baker from the Colorado Rockies for minor-league pitcher Alberto Alburquerque on Thursday.

    Alburquerque became a pure reliever this year and his K per 9 shot up to 11.4.
