With three 1-0 games Wednesday, July 1 proved to be the lowest scoring day of the year (minimum 10 games played) at 6.47 runs per game. Three of the six lowest scoring days of the season happened since Sunday, with 6/28 coming in at 7.13 R/G, sixth and 6/29 resulting in 7.08 runs per game, 5th. Three days into this week, teams are averaging 7.64 runs per game, the lowest week of the season by 0.7 runs. The Mets are Pirates combined to score 13 so far as the Mets lead 8-5 going to the seventh, but Arizona and Cincinnati are tied at 2 in the 10th.
