    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Braves Back in the Race

The Atlanta Braves sweep the Phillies, taking tonight’s game 5-2. Matt Diaz led the way with three hits and the go-ahead RBI in the eighth. The Braves are still in fourth place in the NL East, but only two games behind the first place Phillies and the Marlins, who are in second by percentage points. With the Mets winning this afternoon, they are just one game out.

The Phillies have now lost 14 of 18. They’ve scored 10 runs or more in three of the four wins, but scored four runs or less in 11 of their losses. Their pitchers just aren’t good enough to win with a 4.2 runs per game offense, which is what they scored over this stretch.
