    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Bailey Turning the Corner

Homer Bailey just finished the fifth inning against the Cardinals. He’s allowed just one hit, but more importantly just one walk while striking out five. If Bailey found his control tonight, maybe we’ll finally see him live up to the hype. The Reds lead 1-0 as they come to bat in the fifth.

Update: Albert Pujols ruined a chance for Bailey to get the win. He gave up a hit and a walk in the seventh while recording an out. Arthur Rhodes came in to walk a batter and load the bases, then David Weathers gave up a grand slam to Albert Pujols. That gave the Cardinals the lead, but the Reds tied the game at four in the bottom of the inning. Bailey strikes out fave and walks two on the evening, allowing two earned runs. A huge improvement.
