    Romero’s Streak Over

Eric Hinske homers with one out in the fifth to end Ricky Romero’s scoreless inning streak at 24. That’s the only run he allowed as the Blue Jays lead 4-1. According to the Toronto TV broadcast, Alex Rios’ three run homer should not have happened, since Vernon Wells infield single in the innings should have been an out. That’s two bad calls against the Yankees today that may have cost them runs on both sides of the ledger.
