  • Priceless

    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Bloomin’ Win

Willie Bloomquist misses the cycle by a double as he drives in three runs in the Royals 4-3 win over the Tigers. Bloomquist is in the unusual position of having more triples that doubles and homers combined. Of his eleven extra-base hits, six are triples. The last player to do that over a full season with at least 10 extra base hits was Alex Diaz in 1994. He hit seven triples, five doubles and one home run.

Detroit’s third loss in a row allows he idle Twins and White Sox to each gain 1/2 game in the AL Central.
