Brian Bannister had a rough first inning, allowing three runs, but leaves after getting the first batter in the second on a pop out. That sounds like an injury to me. The game is not on Extra Innings. I’ll see what I can find out.
Yasuhiko Yabuta came on in relief and allowed five runs in the second. The Royals now trail 5-3 in the bottom of the third against Oakland.
Update: I just went to the TV with the Roku box to watch what happened, and while Bannister was removed with an injury, I didn’t see him do anything unusual.
