  • Priceless

    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Master Carpenter

Chris Carpenter pitches a shutout against the Brewers, a one-hit, two-walk performance that gives the Cardinals a 3-0 victory. It’s his third complete game of the season, his first shutout, and his fourth short shutout. Carpenter’s ERA drops to 2.16.

The Brewers helped a lot this season as they hit just .173 against Carpenter in three starts. They scored just three runs in 23 innings against him.
