Ramon Santiago leads off the ninth with a bunt single, diving to the outside of first base to avoid Cuddyer’s tag. Adam Everett pinch runs.
Update: Granderson dumps a hit down the rightfield line, sending Everett to third. In his last four at bats against Nathan, Granderson hit for the cycle.
Update: Nathan strikes out Polanco on an inside breaking ball as Placido takes the pitch.
Update: Ordonez lines out to Orlando Cabrera, and Granderson took one too many steps toward second, and Nathan gets out of the inning on the double play. This has been quite a game. Pitching, defense, power hitting a division on the line to the last second.
