C.B. Bucknor blows a call at first base and Howie Kendrick reaches on an error with two out in the bottom of the fourth. Youkilis was pulled off the bag by a bad throw, but tagged Kendrick. Bucknor missed the call and Alex Gonzalez gets a throwing error.
Update: Lester strikes out Mathis to end the inning. So far, Lester has allowed one hit and three walks while striking out five. Lackey also allowed one hit, but hasn’t walked a batter yet. He struck out two. No score at the end of four.
