  • Priceless

    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Bucknor Blows Another

For the second time tonight, Howie Kendrick grounds to a Red Sox infielder who makes a bad throw to first. This time it was Mike Lowell. Once again, Youkilis is pulled off the bag to make the catch, but makes the play only to have C.B. Bucknor call Kendrick safe. Looking at the replays, they weren’t even that close. Bucknor often seems to bring out the ire of players and managers, especially when he’s behind the plate. I don’t know why he gets post-season assignments.

Update: Ellsbury makes a great diving catch to end the inning, so the bad call doesn’t hurt. Of course, they extend the offense so that the better players get more at bats later in the game.
