    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Snowed Out

MLB postponed the Phillies Rockies game due to snow.

A blast of winter-like weather has forced postponement of tonight’s scheduled third game of the 2009 National League Division Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field in Colorado.

A Major league Baseball press release announcing the change said the game is rescheduled for Sunday at 8:07 p.m. (MT). Game Four has been moved to Monday.

The Weather Channel just showed the stadium covered in snow. On the bright side, the street value of Coors Field is in the millions. :-)

This was the right call. I was at the 1997 World Series in Cleveland, where snow flakes fell but didn’t stick. It was pretty miserable in the stands. With a 22 degree Fahrenheit wind chill, no one was going to be comfortable.
