  • Priceless

    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Utley Connects Again

Chase Utley hits another home run off CC Sabathia, the third of the series. That cuts the Yankees lead to 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh with two out. That’s it for CC, who is still in line for the win after the solo shot. Half of the lefty home runs of CC this year have now been hit by Chase.

Update: Damaso Marte comes in to face Howard.

Update: Howard flies out to left as the Yankees bend but don’t break. Sabathia pitches an okay game, walking three and striking out six in his 6 2/3 innings of work. It’s a quality start, however, and he can’t lose the game. He gave up seven hits, three of them for extra bases.

Update: Blanton pitched a bit better in terms walks and strikeouts (2 BB, 7 K in six innings), but allowed a number of bloop hits that cost him.

Update: Madson is in now, but a walk and a bloop hit put Posada and Cano on 2nd and 1st with one out.

Update: Swisher strikes out as a ball comes back over the plate. Two down.

Update: Cabrera pops out, and the Phillies remain one run behind going to the bottom of the eighth.
