    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Yankees Getting to Lee

The Yankees start the eighth with an infield single by Damon and a double by Teixeira. Lee stays in the game to face Rodriguez. The Yankees need a lot more base runners if they are going to overcome a six run lead.

A-Rod doubles off the glove of Ibanez and drives in two runs. That makes the score 8-4. The Yankees have a man on second with none out, and are now a grand slam away from tying the game.

That’s it for Lee. He pitched okay, but the important thing was he pitched much better than A.J. Burnett. Now the Yankees can try to score against the Phillies pen.

Update: Alex Rodriguez scores on a Cano sac fly. The Yankees bring the deficit down to three, 8-5. Those two home runs in the bottom of the seventh loom large now.

Update: That’s all the Yankees get in the inning. They’ll need to hold the Phillies scoreless, then repeat the eighth in the top of the ninth.

Lee was left in too long. Once Lee gave up the first two hits take him out. Better yet don’t send him out for the 8th.
