  • Priceless

    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Maybin’s Shoulder

    Cameron Maybin needs shoulder surgery:

Cameron Maybin will undergo surgery Monday to repair a partially-torn labrum in his left shoulder. Maybin, slated to be the starting center fielder in 2010, is expected to be ready for spring training.

The shoulder bothered Maybin in the second half of the season but not bad enough to keep him out of the lineup. The news comes a day after the Marlins traded RF Jeremy Hermida to Boston.

He actually played much better after the all-star break, despite the bad shoulder. If he can reproduce his .293/.353/.500 second half over a full season, the Marlins will finally get something back for the Miguel Cabrera deal.
