  • Priceless

    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Feliz Declined

The Phillies decided not to exercise the option on Pedro Feliz, although they may try to bring him back for less money. I like this move, as Feliz was the weak link in the Phillies offense. One good way to keep a team a champion is to take the weak link and replace him with someone better. That’s what the Braves did during the 1990s. The trick for the Phillies, will be finding someone better.

Also Chone Figgins (who would finally push Jimmy Rollins out of leadoff). Miguel Tejada, if he will move to 3rd.

Since this year they have over $30 Million in salaries coming off the budget from people who were either cut (Adam Eaton, Geoff Jenkins) traded (Jim Thome) or barely were present this year (Brett Myers) and they still got to the Series, this is one off-season where I simply don’t want to hear them claim poverty.
