    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Plugging Leaks

Kenny Williams was going to complain about waiver wire leaks, but other GMs brought up the subject first:

“I didn’t have to bring it up,” said Williams, mindful of a report in early August in which a source told ESPN that the Sox were most likely the team that put in a waiver claim for outfielder Alex Rios.

“Some other people brought it up, actually. I did say my little two cents, but I didn’t have to say it as strongly as I felt like saying it because some others were just as unhappy about it, if not more.”

Players placed on the waiver wire aren’t supposed to have their names revealed, but that hasn’t stopped their names from being leaked by undisclosed teams.

I wonder if this is happening at the GM level, or at a lower level where someone is trying to court favor with the press.
