Alfredo Aceves’s talent as a pitcher works particularly well for the Yankees. He throws right-handed but gets left-handed batters out. In his short career, Aceves allowed a lower, BA, OBP and slugging percentage to lefties than righties. In a stadium designed to favor left-handed batters, that gives Aceves an advantage. He posted a 1.61 ERA at Yankee Stadium, 6.42 on the road.
Aceves combines both power and control, striking out over four times more batters than he walked in 2009.
At age 27, Aceves is a late bloomer. So far, his HR, BB and K numbers have been better in the majors than they were in the minors. Given his very short time in the majors so far, I would not be surprised to see him regress some next season.

Perhaps he will regress, but he has been amazingly good in his 114 major league innings. ERA 3.24 ERA+ 134 W-L 11-1.

This series is going to be a great resource for rotisserie types.
