    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Jackie Robinson Day

The Baseball Writers’ Association of America (BBWAA) bestows the Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year awards at 2 PM EST today. Rob Neyer believes the voters chose Gordon Beckham of the Chicago White Sox in the American League, due to the White Sox high-tech campaign.

I would have voted Beckham third behind Elvis Andrus and Brett Anderson. In the IBWAA voting, Andrus and Tommy Hanson won. That agreed with another group of internet baseball writers at SBN. (I voted for J.A. Happ as ROY in the NL.) So two groups of voters agreed on the top spot in both leagues. We’ll see if the writers are on the same page.

You can visit the BBWAA site at 2 PM to find out who won.
