Jeff Protzel sends a link to an interview with Zack Greinke concerning his Cy Young award. At about 8:30 into the interview he starts talking about Brian Bannister and sabermetrics, how Zack now concentrates on walks, home runs and strikeouts. At about 9:55 he says:
“That’s pretty much how I pitch, to try to keep my FIP as low as possible…”
He says things fell into place better since he started trying to control his FIP. Cool.
