Better Pen

This is what the Red Sox want from their bullpen. Three innings, no hits, walks or runs. Apart from Timlin, the Sox bullpen is off to a much better start than they were last year.

And, the O’s can’t be too upset with Dubose only giving up 3 runs against the Sox’s monster lineup. Outside of the Schilling types, and there are few, the O’s will score more than 3 runs most nights.

It was pretty cool to hear 40% of the crowd give Foulke a standing ovation as he entered from the bullpen to start the bottom of the ninth. The Red Sox were much better behaved this afternoon than in my experiences with them last season.

also, gotta send some love up the 5 freeway to my dodgers. finally got their bats on strait and came from behind to win in the 9th. bullpen looked great, after thought it was going to be a replay of opening day being down 4-0 after 3
bradley looks to be having fun playing for a new team. made a great willy mays style catch in the top of the 9th to save a hit for gagne. good job guys, 160 left to go
