Dontrelle Not Done

Via Giants Win, San Francisco becomes the third team this season to try to get Dontrelle Willis back pitching.

Alex Pavlovic in for Andrew Baggarly…big news of the day is that the Giants have agreed to a Triple-A contract with left-hander Dontrelle Willis, a two-time All-Star and 2003 NL Rookie of the Year. Willis’ career has been trending downhill for years, and he was 2-3 with a 5.62 ERA this season with Detroit and Arizona.

At this point I think he’s done. If his problem was giving up home runs, AT&T Park might help. I don’t think it will stop his wildness.
