Ken Macha allows Manny Parra to give up ten runs over 5 1/3 innings before he’s removed from the game against the Braves. Half of those runs came on a grand slam by Brian McCann and a solo shot by Matt Diaz. Parra came into the game with a 4.65 ERA and left with it standing at 5.52. It’s the 11th time this season a pitcher gave up 10 or more runs in a game, and the third time this month.
The Brewers did manage three home runs, two by Rickie Weeks and one by Prince Fielder, but they fell 11-6.
Ouch…I guess he’s still picking up a Major League paycheck though.
