Designating Robertson

The Marlins designated Nate Robertson for assignment:

“We had to make a decision with Nate, and last night, we decided, and the front office decided, that it wouldn’t work with what we are trying to do here,” Marlins manager Edwin Rodriguez said.

This is the third year in a row that Robertson’s ERA was significantly higher than his FIP. The Marlins have an average defense, so I don’t want to blame the fielders. Normally, I would say that some team might do well to pick him up and let his ERA come down to where it should be, but after three seasons, I wonder if there is something that FIP is missing that is causiN. Robertson to give up so many more runs than expected.

I think they should bring back the true left-handed pitcher, Andrew Miller. I am sick and tired of knowing that he is in the minor leagues and not helping this team. The other alternative of Volstad or any other minor leaguer than Andrew is sad. If you don’t want Andrew Miller then trade him. He could get a much better deal than what crap he is enduring in South Florida these days. BRING ANDREW MILLER BACK!!!
