In addition to Magglio Ordonez, the Tigers lost Carlos Guillen to injury as well Saturday night. Two or three years ago, this would have been a bigger loss. Guillen has fallen to being an average player, and wasn’t hitting that well playing second base. I suspect Scott Sizemore is more than capable of making up for Guillen’s bat, and is likely to play better defense at second.

These injuries could not have come at a worse time as the Tigers play a double header today and need to rush replacements to the motor city.
