  • Priceless

    • We all know what a night out at the ballpark costs. While it may be "priceless", it's anything but that when the credit card bill arrives. A cash advance can help.

    Complete Halladay

Roy Halladay pitches his eighth complete game of the season as the Phillies down the Diamondbacks 7-1. Roy completed nine games in each of the previous two seasons, tying his career high. He may blow that away this year. The Diamondbacks scored at the last possible moment, as Miguel Montero doubled in a run with two outs in the ninth.

Halladay walked none and struck out nine. He’s now gone eight straight games allowing one walk or less (four total) while striking out 59.

Cy Young not nervous. When asked for comment, he remarked “Roy only pitched 9 games each of the last two seasons?”

Cy’s complete game record is the one unassailable record in sports.
