Joe Mauer hits his first home run at Target Field to cut the White Sox lead to 5-4 over the Twins. He sent the pitch the other way in the fifth, and it hit off the top of the wall and bounced into the stands in leftfield. He had gone 180 at bat at home before connecting.

Joe also doubled and singled, so he’s a triple away from the cycle. He only tripled once this year, and it was on the road as well.
