Make allowed five hits and one walk in seven innings. That’s as many hits as Paul Konerko collected in the game, missing the cycle by a triple. Four other White Sox hitters knocked out three hits each as Carl Pavano took one for the team, allowing 15 hits in six innings. Buehrle is 3-1 with a 2.57 ERA so far in August.
