I just turned back to the Nationals/Phillies game, and Strasburg was out after recording the first out in the fifth. He was pitching well and his pitch count was low. So I looked on Twitter:

Nationals P Stephen Strasburg leaves game vs. Phillies in 5th inning with apparent right arm injury

That’s bad news. His second injury of the year. I’m guessing they’ll shut him down for the season now.

The Nationals are leading 5-1 in the top of the sixth, but Strasburg will not get the win. He walked none and struck out six in 4 1/3 innings.

Update: This doesn’t sound good:

Scary sight. Strasburg just threw a pitch and shook his elbow in agony. Hate to see this.
