I’m loving this whole McCourt saga. The owners chose an obviously underfinanced and overleveraged owner because they felt it would prevent him from raising payroll and becoming the West Coast Yankees. They got what they asked for and much much more.
The only part of the story I don’t like is that Selig and the others are emerging from this clusterf- unscathed. They caused this situation as much as McCourt.
