After interviewing Robert Creamer, Graham Womack writes an open letter asking for the scribe’s induction into the Hall of Fame.
Update: Graham corrects me in the comment, I missed the gist of his post:
As a writer, Creamer couldn’t actually be inducted. And he also can’t be included in the press exhibit as it currently sits, since it’s only for newspaper reporters and broadcasters at the moment. I’m suggesting the creation of a Robert W. Creamer Award for non-newspaper writers.
Hi David, thanks for linking. One correction: As a writer, Creamer couldn’t actually be inducted. And he also can’t be included in the press exhibit as it currently sits, since it’s only for newspaper reporters and broadcasters at the moment. I’m suggesting the creation of a Robert W. Creamer Award for non-newspaper writers.
Graham Womack » Sorry Graham, I missed the gist.
Maybe they should just broaden the existing category to include non-newspaper writers–it might be faster than getting them to create a whole new category, and might get Creamer in before another Buck O’Neil/Ron Santo disgrace occurs.
Kahn and Angell-Are they in?
