Carl “Murphy’s Law” Crawford

Carl Crawford suffered a setback in his wrist rehabilitation:

“I just had to come up here and get my elbow checked,” Crawford said. “I think it was best to be up here with the doctors for the next few days, so I’m not sure when I’m going back to Fort Myers, but I should be headed back pretty soon.”

Crawford said the issue with his elbow came as a setback.

“This was the week I was scheduled to play games,” Crawford said. “It’s just a little setback. It’s just a strain and we’re going to have to work on it a little bit. I’m guessing I’ll be playing some games next week, hopefully.”

A bad first season on his contract followed by an injury plagued second season would put him in the running for one of the worst contracts signed. Granted, he has a long way to go to catch Vernon Wells, but at least Wells posted one decent season.
