Braves Sweep

The Braves go into St. Louis and score 23 runs in three games, capping their sweep with a 7-4 victory over he Cardinals on Sunday. The 1-2-3 hitters in the Braves lineup reached base seven times, scoring four runs as Jason Heyward and Dan Uggla picked up four of them with RBI. The Cardinals did out homer Atlanta 2-0, but St. Louis managed just two hits with runners in scoring position while Atlanta went 5 for 20. Michael Bourn, Martin Prado and Freddie Freeman are all doing a great job getting on base.

The Braves now own the third base record in the National League, pending the outcomes of the Nationals/Reds game.
